The University of Chicago recently released some research that showed that people that get divorced are not necessarily happier.

The biggest highlight of this study was that troubled couples that decided to stick together and work things out were a lot happier years later. The research also found that couples that were happy had at times experienced turbulence in those marriages. The only differing factor is that these couples stayed together and worked things out.

In marriage the two people involved are bonded together and honour a lifetime commitment.
